In deze editie, behalve 3 vrouwelijke burlesque starlets, OOK drie mannen op het podium, Een Burlesque show is niet alleen maar striptease na striptease volgens Burlesque Freakout! Maar pure Variété met een ondeugend sausje...

Een luchtige vorm van ouderwets vermaak is terug in Amsterdam.

Niet alleen maar 'striptease met een knipoog', maar ook zang door Rat-Pack Crooner Shai Shahar, comedy, performance art en dans. Daarna dansfeestje.

Burlesque FreakOut: Een avond met een unieke sfeer: ouderwets, intiem en chique. Maar ook nog steeds underground. Denk aan de kruising tussen een stijlvolle nachtclub uit de jaren ’20 en een film van Quentin Tarantino.

Burlesque Freakout is a spin-off from the Tease-á-GoGo show/party which in 2007 introduced the first complete Burlesque night out in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
It has become clear that an old form of light entertainment has gotten an new life.
Burlesque Freakout is a mix of Theatre and Club Night and besides classic Striptease also brings you Humor, Satire, Magic, Performance Art, Vaudeville, Live Music, Acrobatics, Dancing, Cabaret and Variety.
We encourage our audience to dress up for Party Time!

"Burlesque" historically has several meanings, one of them 'in upside down style.' Like it's cousin, 'Commedia dell'arte', Burlesque turns social norms head over heels, Burlesque is a style of live entertainment that encompasses pastiche, parody and wit. The genre traditionally encompasses a variety of acts such as dancing girls, chanson singers, comedians, mime artists and striptease artists, all satirical and with a saucy edge.............
Burlesque FreakOut is all about exploring the borders and meaning of 'Burlesque' and will also bring you acts with a new mix of all the perormance styles mentioned above, in effect bringin Burlesque into the 21st century.

Come on down to this entertaining night with naughty but nice Burlesque shows, Rock 'n Roll Cabaret and Freaky Veejaying.
Dance the night away to an evening of Swingin'-, Snappy-, Funky-, Rock 'n Roll and Soul music! Enjoy the fab atmosphere and dress up for PARTY TIME!
