The (1-3 monthly) Newsletter will tell you mostly about Madame's projects like Burlesque FreakOut, 1920's underground Party RaZzin', Dress-up party 1000 Dances etc.. Also Dutch Burlesque News (and juicy gossip) and sometimes discounts on tickets or chance to win some will be the benefits of subscribing to the Newsletter!

Compared with the USA and UK, it took a while before the new Burlesque wave 'hit' the Netherlands, but the mysterious Madame Risquée has been very much involved with several Burlesque shows (starting with 'Tease-a-GoGo') and Parties since 2007. Here a History page on the subject.

The Madame (co) organises shows and parties with a 'warm retro style feel', scouts for talent, develops acts and burlesque concepts, helps creating a burlesque community in the Netherlands, produces shows for corporate events, is webmistress of AmsterdamBurlesque.com and also makes this Burlesque Newsletter.
