He takes care of building the atmosphere, timing the show and makes sure the guests have a great time and dance the night away with his choice of VINTAGE/RETRO MUSIC: from 1920's Charleston 'till Soul, from Rock & Roll via tropical tunes, all the way to more modern sounds and Burlesque' Beats. Shai (Crooner / MC)
Our "American Crooner" and MC...comes from Philadelphia and earned his reputation as a "Rat Pack" type of entertainer in Los Angeles. His amazing Sinatra-esque vocals have been used in national TV advertising campaigns ("What A Wonderful Life" -free download). In 2006 he turned his formidable talents to the revival of Burlesque "American-style", joining forces with Madame Risquée and legendary promoter Koos van Dijk to present the best mix of live swingy, romantic music, snappy one-liners, & classic burlesque acts [sophisticated naughtiness] to a big city audience...
Also to be booked with Live band: "his Lucky 7" (Int'l) Together with his 7 piece band ' the Lucky 7' will enthrall you with numbers such as: Puttin On The Ritz, Steppin Out With My Baby, Straighten Up & Fly Right and Come Fly With Me. As a little girl growing up in Russia VR learned jazz-ballet at school. During the 90’s her dancing career started on stage of an Egyptian cruise ship were she was performing as a belly dancer. When she came to Holland she began go-go dancing. Later she moved to the beautiful Island of Aruba and was dancer and personal assistant of illusionist Adam Steinfield at Alhambra Casino’s Magic Life show.
Later she continued as a Latin-dancer in a Cuban dinershow named Havana Tropical. Now back in Europe VR is 100% focused on classic Burlesque Strip & Tease performances. Her signature act with the Champagne tower is 'delicious'!

Carnival of Hellucinations is directed by Ewan Cameron who has been producing many unique short plays, performances, scenarios and acts. Creating different unusual bizarre stories in a funny absurd fashion. Reminiscent of old cabaret, circus, film scenes, vaudeville, the group (or solo/duo) tackels diverse themes revealing in a wild mix of cartoon action. Devilish clowns knockabout in a quasi-sexy transgender bending humour. Grotesque but familiar to our real world the idiots run amuck and foolishly get tangled in gags, props, even furniture. Armed with hats, make-up, boxes of noses, old wigs and big shoes.

Raoull

Raoul had his education at Conservatorium Enschede, Balletschool Riga and the Rotterdamse Dansacademie. He performed with Introdans, Dansgroep Krisztina de Châtel, Diversions (Wales), Maqamat Theatre Dance (Beiroet) and the Dutch Don't Dance Division. Now he also choreographs his own acts (and that of others) for Madame Risquée. Think: Fred Astaire dance (also as duo with Deena!), a funny 'strip' as Private Detective Peter Gunn. Hilarious live singing of Chorus Line's Tit's and Ass in Travestie, etc. Professional and entertaining.

Charles The Wizard

Charles the Wizard performs short, funny, amazing, sometimes slightly shocking, AND grand illusion: Burlesque starlets have levitated and dissapeared!
Excellent for bringing variety to the show or as animation in a crowd. He can grab lights out of thin air, swallow swords, makes his head shrink and make handkerchiefs and dolls come to live...

the Candy Girls

Ambiance is very important for a Burlesque event, these Candy Girls not only provide a nice welcome, they can also give out presents to the visitors. On and off stage they can double as stage kittens, GoGo girls, wizard assistant etc. Soon they'll loose there Burlesque virginity and will perform in the spotlight!

Besides real theatre performances we also provide on and off stage and interaction entertainment (animatie): Eight showgirls dressed the same?: no problem! Funny 'Cleaning ladies', Angels and Devils?: We know where to find them. All themes and concepts can be developed and provided; Moulin Rouge, movie stars (Marilyn Monroe, Kylie Minoque even with live singing!), Glamourstyle , candy girls or lederhosenbabes, under water, X-mas, Roman, etc etc.

Desmond O'Connor (MC/Comedian/Singer/Ukelele)
A Desmond O'Connor is an internationally renowned musical comedian whose bittersweet lyrics and insanely catchy melodies never fail to shock, charm and entertain. He is one of the most exciting and original acts on the Burlesque and Variety scene. Regular club and festival performances in London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin and New York, alongside an acclaimed appearance at the New York Burlesque Festival 2008, have earned Desmond a far-reaching army of loyal fans. His work as a presenter for MTV at Bestival and The Big Chill this summer has furthered his status as one of the biggest names on the UK music and cabaret circuit. Desmond is also great as duo hosting act with Lady Marmalade and has often performed in the Netherlands.

Sue (singer) also as live duo/trio
Sue’s great vocal style combined with an amazing stage presence reminds you of some of the best female singers and stars of the 1950s. She has been performing on many stages all over Europe, Scandinavia and America. Her versatile style, with a repertoire varying from nightclub-jazz, crooners, and latin to smooth and sensual rock and roll gets her audiences glued to her lips and dancing on their seats. An original and classy performance accompanied by her smooth piano player or guitarist and with Mr Mills on saxophone brings you Hollywood glamour turned into music..

West Hell 5

House band of the The Burlesque Glamour Nights: WestHell 5 is inspired by Spy-Fi & Crime-Jazz soundtracks, groovin' 60's à-Go-Go-Jazz and early dancefloor filling Rhythm & Blues. All of this results in a style that they call Crime & Mod-Jazz, with hot & steamin' sax, wailin' organ, hard-swingin' drums, fat bass and groovin' guitar!

Phantom Four (Surf/Exotica)
This Surf band was born out of the famous Treble Spankers, who had more than 500 live appearances (pinkpop etc.) AND a hitsingle. In 2004 Phantom Frank started this new band, the Phantom Four. Besides unique interpretations of some 'standards' like Malagueña, Margaya and Johnny Guitar, they play excellent self written exotic, soundtrack like, and very powerfull tunes.
The contrast between some cabaret acts in the show and their atmoshperic music makes a complete show!

Ragtime Wranglers
The Ragtime Wranglers play instrumentals heavily influenced by 40's jazz, 50's rockabilly, 60's surf and everything in between. This professional band has played at many international Burlesque shows and the classic trio line-up recently added extra band members playing percussion and sax. Apart from Dutch listeners they already showed US, Belgian, French and Spanish audiences their modest to loud approach of the inexhaustible world of instrumentals. As the main Dutch music magazine "Oor" mentioned in their review on "Groove a Tune": "One of the best roots-bands in the world just live round the corner" (2005)

ALL Bands can play an 'easy set' before the main show, during the show as soundtrack for acts, and in between acts (fillers) plus a 'dance set' after the show to get people move their feet!

Welcome addition to any professional show is a musical performer who can ALSO double as DJ and Stage manger!
His Theremin show has to be seen and heard to believe and is perfect as a pre-show act. The wild Mexican wrestler sax player with Go Go dancers is a good party starter after the Burlesque show! Together with Charley Rhythm he forms DJ/VJ duo the Scopi-Tonics, who bring extra visual/musical fun at any party!
